Dr Kerris Bright

Dr Kerris Bright

Kerris was appointed chief marketing officer for AkzoNobel’s global  Decorative Paints business in January 2008 upon the takeover of ICI Paints where she had been CMO since June 2006.

Kerris joined ICI Paints in 2001 as UK marketing director responsible for brands such as Dulux, Polycell, Cuprinol and Hammerite.   

Kerris began her Career in 1991 with Unilever working for Quest International before moving to Unilever’s consumer healthcare division, Unipath Ltd, where she held a number of senior marketing and general management roles.

Kerris and her partner Ben live in Buckingham and London.



Angela Wilmott

Angela has spent most of her career at Mars. After dabbling in product design, she turned her attention to marketing, working on GALAXY and CELEBRATIONS as regional brand director.

Recognising she needed an adventure, she moved to China to manage the Mars chocolate business living in Shanghai for three years. Returning in 2006, she became general manager of the Mars Sugar business before returning from maternity in January 2008 to become UK marketing director and european brand director for GALAXY.

After living in one of the world's most populated cities, Angela now lives with her husband and two sons in the middle of nowhere.



Cameron Saunders

Cameron started his career as a musician back in the early 90s with Pete Waterman backed band ‘New Atlantic’, with two top 20 hits and numerous TV performances, including Top of the Pops. His childhood ambition realised, he then picked up a double first from Cambridge before moving into advertising as a planner with WCRS, where his contribution to the development of the Orange brand led to him being recognised by Campaign magazine as one of the UK’s ‘Top 10 Strategic Planners’. His pivotal role in the launch of 118 118, helping deliver the most visible ad campaign in over 10 years, led to a preposterous nomination as the UK’s most creatively successful person in the FT’s "Creative Business Top 50", ahead of the slightly better remunerated JK Rowling, and the rather more successful Andy Duncan.

Armed with an MBA with distinction from City University, Cameron joined Channel 4 in 2006 as head of marketing for digital channels – E4, More4 and Film4. Since then Film4 enjoyed a hugely successful relaunch, making it a top 10 UK channel, More4 has increased audience share by 28% and picked up a clutch of creative awards, E4 has picked up Broadcast, IPA, Marketing Week effectiveness awards a plenty with groundbreaking campaigns for the likes of Skins and Fonejacker, and 4Music has launched as a the most exciting new channel in music TV since MTV. Cameron was chosen as one of Marketing’s Next Generation: Power 100 marketers, and in his spare time is a successful remixer/producer with the dance outfit The Young Punx who by all accounts are very big in Japan.



Nigel Walley

Nigel Walley,

Nigel is managing director of Decipher the media strategy consultancy, and chairman of the Decipher Group of companies, which includes iBurbia, the interactive media research lab.
Founded in 1998, Decipher works with large advertisers and with media companies to understand the commercial implications of new consumer technologies.

Nigel is a marketer at heart, but with an intuitive sense of the potential of digital technologies.  His particular focus is the evolution of commercial advertising models in media markets affected by the advent of new consumer technology.

Founded in 1998, Decipher has worked on interactive media and technology projects for a wide range of clients including NTL, Telewest, ITV, the BBC, Sky, UKTV, Channel 4, Sony, the UK Govt (DTI), and Viacom. Since 2002 Decipher has pioneered research into the impact of PVRs and VOD on the TV advertising markets. Decipher are currently working with ITV on defining future formats for television advertising.

Previously marketing director of the Internet Division of NTL, he holds an MBA from Cornell University in the USA.  He is widely published in trade and national press and has appeared on BBC Business Breakfast, The Money Programme and Bloomberg TV commenting on digital issues.



Jennelle Tilling

An experienced marketing executive, Jennelle has over 9 years of service with Yum! Since becoming vice president of marketing for KFC UK in 2006, she has succeeded in delivering strong year-on-year growth with a fresh strategy focused on returning to the heart of the brand.

Jennelle’s previous role was chief marketing officer for Yum! Canada, overseeing the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands across a network of 1200 franchise and equity stores. Prior to joining the Canadian team, Jennelle was director of product marketing for Pizza Hut US.

In 2007, Jennelle received the ‘Brand Revitalisation Award’ from the Marketing Society and in 2008, she was shortlisted for the Lloyds TSB First Women Awards. 



Dr Scott Gallacher

Described by New Media Age as “one of the most powerful men in the UK digital industry”, Scott has been the driving force behind Sky’s leadership within the online marketing world, making them the largest spender in the UK, and producing award winning work in creative, behavioural targeting, affiliates  and innovation with media firsts in mobile, and social media. He is also on the judging committees for the Marketing Society, Revolution and BIMA.

Previous to BSkyB, Scott worked at OgilvyOne as client services director for American Express covering 38 countries. Prior to this he served as a vice president for Digitas.

Scott holds a PhD in Multimedia innovation & social learning from Edinburgh, M.Sc. in Human Computer Interaction from Heriot Watt and a BCom in Business Studies from Edinburgh.



Dominic Grounsell

Dominic Grounsell

Dominic graduated with from Leeds in 2000 with a first class degree in Politics & Sociology. After a short stint with GE Capital, he joined Unilever on the graduate training programme (UCMDS) as a marketing trainee, before going on to brand management roles with Lux, where he delivered the relaunch of the brand in the UK, and Dove, where he managed the brand's hair portfolio.

In 2005 Dominic moved to BT, where, as head of marketing for BT Total Broadband, he was responsible for acquisition marketing strategy and execution for the highly successful consumer broadband offering. In 2007, he then moved to his current role as marketing director for Capital One UK.

Dominic has also featured in Marketing magazine's Power 100 Next Generation twice in recent years. He was also Unilever's (Home & Personal Care) Marketer of the Year 2004, BT Young Marketer of the Year 2007 and the Marketing Society Young Marketer of the Year 2007.
