Join the May Day Network

May Day Network

The Prince’s May Day Network is the UK’s largest group of businesses committed to taking action on climate change.   Businesses are encouraged to take action by reducing their carbon emissions, by innovating low carbon products and services and by extending their impact to employees, suppliers and customers.

The Network was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2007 and is convened by Business in the Community.  Over 1,350 businesses have signed-up to the Network to date.

Why join the Prince’s May Day Network?

1. To access support to help your business cost-effectively reduce its carbon emissions including:
• Best practice low-carbon case studies through our website and bi-monthly newsletter
• The online May Day Journey, signposting to tools and support organisations that can help your business take practical steps to reduce carbon emissions

2. To profile your low carbon activities including through:
• Case studies on our website, in our bi-monthly May Day newsletter, in our series of May Day workshops, and for the top leaders at the annual Prince’s May Day Summit.
• Use of the Prince’s May Day Network logo for those businesses that report-back against May Day pledges 1 and 2, to measure and report their carbon emissions publicly or to Business in the Community.  The logo communicates that a business has taken the preliminary step on a journey which can lead it on to reducing carbon emissions.

How can businesses join?
