Annual Lecture with Paul Polman

30 April 2012
6.30pm - 9pm
Royal College of Physicians, London

Paul Polman, chief executive of Unilever, gave our 2012 Annual Lecture. It was a masterclass in bold marketing leadership.

Paul Polman

We were proud to host our Annual Lecture with Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever who shared his vision and inspiration for sustainability. As the world’s population passes seven billion, and the effects of all our consumption become more obvious, the business world has recognised that it is time to take action and encourage mindful consumption. Paul Polman told us how this can be done. We heard all about the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan and put our questions to the CEO of one of the world’s leading businesses. Read more from the evening as Paul claimed marketers are rapidly losing ground.

Our members awarded the evening a feedback score of 4.8 out of 5. Other feedback from the evening included:

“Genius”
“Inspiring, visionary and full of hope for the future”
“Amazingly inspiring, I am now a Unilever brand advocate”
“Incredibly inspirational and thought provoking discussion, honest, relevant and insightful”
“Excellent speaker – the best. Great subject”
