Marketing Society Glasgow

We are looking forward to the launch of Marketing Society Glasgow at the opening night of the internationally acclaimed Celtic Connections on Thursday January 19, 2012.

The evening will take place at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and will be hosted by Gordon Brown and Sera Miller the Chair and Vice Chair of Marketing Society Glasgow.

They will be joined by Scott Taylor, Chief Executive of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and Gordon Arthur, Director of Communications and Marketing at Glasgow 2014.

We will use this occasion to discuss how the marketing community might work together to promote Glasgow as a world class centre of excellence and creativity – and a great place to study, work and invest in marketing.

As we look forward to hosting Olympic Games events in 2012 the Commonwealth Games in 2014 there is a real window of opportunity for Glasgow to promote itself on the world stage.

The event will begin with a drinks reception in the Buchanan Suite from 5.30pm with presentations and discussion from 6pm – 7pm.
