The Marketing Society Northern Awards 2011

The Marketing Society Northern Awards in association with How-Do set the standard of marketing excellence in the North last night, bringing together leading brand and agency marketers from across the region, to celebrate creativity and acknowledge outstanding marketing practice. The glittering ceremony was held at the Lancashire County Cricket Club’s stunning new conference facility, The Point.

The Grand Prix was awarded to Tayburn for its Chewits – Mastering The Chewieverse! campaign. Their creative and innovative campaign demonstrated an exemplary entry, with clear objectives, strategy and implementation which ultimately led to great results. Judges commented that the entry truly was ‘a joy to judge’. Tayburn also won the top prize for best Social Media campaign. Highly successful marketer Karen Gee, managing director at Journeys of Distinction, Kuoni was awarded Marketing Personality of the Year. Parasol/Marketecture won the prize for best B2B campaign proving creativity and innovation can overcome a niche problem with a strong personalized strategy.

All winning case studies will be available for members on The Marketing Society Knowledge Zone. Selected winners will be showcased in the Marketing Society’s Awards for Excellence Best Practice Roadshow in September in September.
