Marketing Society Scotland Golf

The Sporting Event of the Marketing Calendar is The Clients vs Agency Ryder Cup Challenge which takes place on Friday 19th June at the very prestigious Gullane 1 course in East Lothian.

The Client team are the current holders of the Trophy for the first time in the tournament’s history. The day is great fun with a chance to mix business and pleasure in a relaxed but slightly competitive spirit. This years Challenge will be no different. Huw Pennell the Managing Director of Maxxium UK, is the outgoing Client captain looking for revenge, while Jonathan Shinton of Newhaven is the newly appointed Agency Captain looking to steal the trophy back from the clients.

The format of the event is Ryder Cup style with 2 teams of 12, going out in pairs. This is a very popular networking and sociable event. If you are interested in playing simply reply to Caroline Hill, The Marketing Society Scotland Regional Manager, with your handicap and whether you are Client or Agency. As we expect the event to be oversubscribed the names will then be drawn from the hat.

The cost will be £120.00 to include a round of afternoon links golf, a light lunch (12.30pm onwards), golf clinic, goodies, team prizes and early evening 2 course dinner, including wine, at the Gullane Club house - with the objective to be away c.8.30pm - 9pm latest.
