He oversees Britain’s largest newspaper publisher, including The Sun and The Times, and major television businesses in Europe and Asia, including Star TV and Sky Italia. He’s chairman of the UK’s largest pay television operator and fastest growing broadband and telephony provider. We think he’s someone you need to listen to.

James Murdoch is director of News Corporation, where he holds the executive role of chairman and chief executive of Europe and Asia. He has direct responsibility for the strategic and operational development of News Corporation’s television, newspaper and related digital assets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Mr Murdoch has been a director of BSkyB since February 2003 and was appointed non-executive chairman in December 2007. He served as BSkyB’s chief executive officer from November 2003 to December 2007. Prior to his appointment as CEO of BSkyB, he was chairman and chief executive officer of Star Group Limited.

Mr Murdoch serves on the Board of Yankee Global Enterprises LLC, the Board of Trustees of the Harvard Lampoon and the Leadership Council of The Climate Group.
