This event has now taken place.
As The Marketing Society celebrates its 50th Anniversary, the Drinks Forum reflects on Drinks Marketing - 50 years on. How times have changed. In 1959, Guinness was still good for you, sales were dominated by pubs and drink driving was what people who could afford cars did. Today, it’s a brave new world where a smoke-free, food-led trade saw beer sales fall to their lowest of all time, where vodka outsells whisky, and health concerns spell the dawn of tighter regulation. Join leading industry figures including Andy Fennell, chief marketing officer, Diageo; Simon Davies, marketing director, Coors; Baroness Jean Coussins, former CEO of the Portman Group who will outline where the future challenges of the drinks industry lie.
Presentations and Q&A will be followed by drinks and refreshments at approx 8.30pm.
