Giles Robertson

Giles Robertson founded the Not For Profit Group 5 years ago backed by the Marketing Society.  He also founded and runs green banana marketing focusing on the sustainable, environmental and ethical sectors, delivering audience, marketing and partnership strategies. Most recent clients include large NGO’s and the Fairtrade Foundation. Giles has over 17 years of experience in not-for-profit and commercial sectors.  He worked as Marketing Director for Greenvoice, a new environmental campaigning portal. And as Head of Marketing and Communications at WWF he connected with 7.5 million new people through partnerships (HSBC, Ben & Jerrys, M&S, BBC, and ITV) and multi channel communications.  He also oversaw the re-branding and relaunch of Southbank Centre, and all commercial partnerships (with Canteen, Skylon Restaurants, and Waterstones), generating 250,000 visitors in opening weekend, as Deputy Director, Marketing. He also developed a new brand identity with Wolff Olins as Head of Marketing and Press at Laban, the world's largest contemporary dance school attracting 8,000 locals to the opening weekend.

He began his career as a Graduate Trainee at Saatchi and Saatchi during the last session with stints at Publics and Ogilvy developing advertising strategies for Toyota, Visa, Mirror, Save the Children, RSPB, Renault Clio’s Papa Nicole launch, Coca-Cola’s Eat Sleep Drink Football, and Ford Ka and Focus launch.
